We are looking for an Attendance Officer to manage and promote high levels of student attendance within a vibrant school based in Manchester. This is a full-time position focused on monitoring attendance patterns liaising with families and implementing strategies to improve student engagement. The successful Attendance Officer will be joining a well-resourced and highly successful pastoral department with an approachable and supportive senior leadership team. Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in an attendance or pastoral role ideally within an educational setting

• Be an enthusiastic resilient and persuasive communicator

• Have excellent data management skills and proficiency in school systems (e.g. SIMS)

• Ability to work collaboratively with parents staff and external agencies

• Legal ability to work within the UK
