Job Summary
We are working with a school who are recruiting for a meticulous Science Technician for an ASAP start in York. This is a central role in an Ofsted Outstanding school known for its consistently brilliant outcomes in the STEM subjects and its commitment to academic rigour.
The Role The successful applicant will join a flourishing team of specialists providing technical support across Biology Chemistry and Physics. You will be responsible for the preparation of practical resources ensuring all experiments are set up with total precision and in accordance with CLEAPSS health and safety guidelines. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a technology-rich lab environment and can lead by example ensuring that very little learning time is lost. This role is ideal for an individual who treats their colleagues as valued peers and maintains a scholarly well-ordered atmosphere. Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP Contract: Permanent
Salary: Paid based on experience (School Discretion)
Requirement: Must have Right to Work in the UK and previous school experience is a must.
