JOB Field Service Engineer
LOCATION Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)
TERM Permanent
SALARYper annum dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer of consumer products. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Southwest to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years relevant experience in a Servicing role
- Experience working on electromechanical systems or similar equipment
- Hands-on experience with maintenance installation commissioning servicing and repair
- Strong experience with assembly and build
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Team player who is passionate about their work
- Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
- Happy to travel on a field basis and work alone
- Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service maintain and install equipment
- Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
- Training customers on how to use their equipment
- Developing strong relationships with customers
- Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
