This Digital Imaging Unit Team Leader sits in the Operational Delivery team within Customer Service Operations and Archives directorate providing oversight of all functions relating to digital imaging carried out across three sites (New Register House General Register House and Thomas Thomson House).

Responsibilities
  • Build strong crossteam relationships and foster a collaborative working environment across three sites.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally at all levels including when working with vulnerable or stressed individuals.
  • Remain calm under pressure reacting quickly and professionally to unexpected or competing demands while leading by example.
  • Manage overall workload and performance across three teams to ensure targets and business objectives are consistently met.
  • Provide line management for three A4 team leaders acting as the key digital imaging contact and travelling between sites as required.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of imaging equipment and processes identifying training needs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Set team targets conduct quality checks compile monthly performance statistics and ensure data security in line with policies.
  • Lead the development of SOPs and training materials contribute to service improvement work and maintain inventory of imaging assets and supplies.

Experience
  1. Experience in working in a reprographics environment and familiarity with digital imaging standards.
  2. Experience managing teams in a demand lead environment working with various stakeholders and competing demands.
