Electrification is seeking a Senior Director Cyber Services & AI Security to lead strategy governance and execution across key cybersecurity service domains supporting Electrifications business-managed product and IT environments in close liaison with GE Vernova HQ Cyber and Digital Technology teams.This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and advancing capabilities across Monitoring & Incident Response Vulnerability Management AI Security and strategic cyber programs. The role will provide direction through leaders within the organization ensuring these services operate effectively mature over time and remain aligned to business priorities enterprise risk and regulatory obligations.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical and strategic cybersecurity leadership with the ability to work across IT OT software product and business teams to strengthen cyber resilience and enable secure innovation across Electrification.

Roles and Responsibilities
Cyber Services Leadership
- Lead the strategy operating model and maturity roadmap for key cyber service areas supporting Electrifications business-managed product and IT environments.
- Provide senior leadership across Monitoring & Incident Response Vulnerability Management AI Security and related transformation initiatives.
- Lead through subordinate leaders establishing clear priorities governance and accountability for delivery and outcomes.
- Act as a senior advisor to cybersecurity and business leadership on cyber risk service performance and investment priorities.
- Work in close liaison with GE Vernova HQ Cyber and Digital Technology teams to ensure alignment of business-led cyber services with enterprise strategy governance and operational expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement simplification and scale across cyber service capabilities.
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Set the strategic direction and governance for monitoring detection incident response and cyber resilience acrossElectrifications business-managed product and IT environments in alignment with enterprise processes and in liaison with GE Vernova HQ teams.
- Provide oversight to leaders responsible for SOC incident response threat detection and response readiness within the defined business scope.
- Ensure effective service coverage escalation models and crisis coordination processes across product software and IT environments with clear interfaces to enterprise and HQ-led capabilities where required.
- Review service performance major incident learnings and improvement priorities to strengthen response capability and resilience across the Electrification portfolio.
Vulnerability Management
- Define the strategy and governance model for vulnerability management acrossElectrifications business-managed product and IT environments including relevant cloud software and non-core infrastructure scope in coordination with GE Vernova HQ teams.
- Provide leadership oversight to teams responsible for vulnerability identification prioritization remediation governance and reporting within the business-owned environment landscape.
- Ensure a risk-based business-aligned approach to vulnerability reduction with clear accountability and strong partnership across engineering product software and IT teams.
- Oversee posture reporting key risk themes and continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program while maintaining alignment with enterprise standards and governance expectations.
AI Security
- Lead the cybersecurity strategy for AI-enabled technologies including AI-assisted operations large language models and emerging AI use cases.
- Establish governance standards and security expectations for the responsible adoption of AI across the business.
- Partner with software engineering digital and data teams to embed security into AI initiatives.
- Monitor emerging AI security risks and translate them into practical controls guidance and strategic actions.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve cybersecurity effectiveness automation and insight generation.
Strategic Programs
- Lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives that improve resilience service maturity and risk reduction.
- Define roadmaps priorities and success measures for assigned domains.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise cybersecurity strategy business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Provide executive-level updates on service health risk posture and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security Engineering or related technical field.
- Significant cybersecurity leadership experience in large complex organizations.
- Strong experience across cyber operations incident response vulnerability management and cybersecurity program leadership.
- Experience working across bothIT and OT/ICSenvironments.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and industry standards includingNIST ISO 27001 CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Knowledge of AI security risks governance and secure adoption practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in critical infrastructure energy industrial or software environments is preferred.
