Were looking for a Road Surfacing Team Leader to manage sites across Scotland leading operatives plant and subcontractors to deliver high-quality surfacing works safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role. Youll be on site making decisions keeping jobs moving and holding standards.
The Role
- Lead surfacing gangs on active sites across the region
- Manage day-to-day site operations including plant and subcontractors
- Plan and execute daily works to meet programme and output targets
- Ensure all health safety and environmental standards are met
- Deliver work to spec and secure client sign-off at the end of each shift
- Minimise waste reduce remedials and drive efficiency on site
- Complete site records briefings and compliance documentation
What Matters
- Experience in road surfacing and machine lay asphalt works
- Confident leading a gang and managing site activity
- Strong understanding of surfacing plant (pavers rollers etc.)
- Able to make decisions on site and keep work moving
- Safety-first mindset with high standards
- Flexible and willing to travel across projects in the region
