Rate of Pay: 49.00 - 61.94 per hour
Summary:
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Control professional to lead and manage service delivery across North Northamptonshire. The role focuses on driving operational performance ensuring statutory compliance and leading transformation initiatives to improve service quality and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Building Control service including surveying technical and business support teams
- Ensure compliance with Building Control and safety legislation
- Drive service improvement transformation and digital innovation
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on building safety and regulatory matters
- Manage performance budgets and service delivery standards
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Building Control Building Surveying Civil/Structural Engineering or similar
- Registered Building Inspector (or working towards)
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive senior-level experience in Building Control or Building Surveying
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets performance and service delivery
- Ability to drive change and service improvements
- Full driving licence and ability to attend site visits (minimum 3 days onsite)
