Are you a skilled and passionate Social Worker with a strong background in safeguarding and frontline practice Were looking for a dedicated professional to join our Safeguarding Team in Swindon where youll play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children and supporting families through high-quality child-centred social work.

What Youll Do:

• Manage complex caseloads across Child in Need (CIN) Child Protection (CP) and Looked After Children (LAC) pathways.

• Deliver timely assessments care plans and interventions that promote safety wellbeing and positive outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with families health professionals education providers and partner agencies.

• Chair CIN and core group meetings contribute to court proceedings and lead multi-agency safeguarding processes.

• Mentor and supervise ASYE and student social workers supporting reflective practice and professional growth.

What Youll Bring:

• Social Work England registration and post-qualified experience in safeguarding.

• Confidence in managing high-risk cases and navigating statutory frameworks.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a child-focused approach.

• Proficiency in case management systems (Liquidlogic Mosaic CareFirst ICS) and Microsoft Office.

• Additional training in contextual safeguarding trauma-informed practice domestic abuse and working with asylum-seeking families.
