Volunteers are essential to Change Grow Live bringing valuable skills lived experience and passion that strengthen our teams improve outcomes help us break down barriers and supports meaningful change. We are committed to valuing supporting and developing our volunteers.

Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.

Most of our volunteer opportunities dont need any special qualifications. Well make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that youre kind open-minded and passionate about supporting people.

Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You dont need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.

Addiction can have a huge impact on everyone including family friends and communities. As a Smoke Free Advisor Volunteer you will play a key role to help us engage with the people who access our services by promoting the benefits of stopping smoking and providing interventions to those wishing to quit.

An important part of the role is to support the expansion of the service through promotion and encouraging engagement. You will work as part of the Change Grow Live Team and will connect with the wider community.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting people to quit smoking and improve their health. You will be provided with all the skills training and support you will need to undertake the role.
