- Salary: £49500 per annum
- Contract: 40 hours per week
- Shift pattern: Mix of 24 hours (2 x 8-8 shifts) clinical nursing shifts on the floor and 16 hours supernumerary. Full flexibility required.

As a Deputy Manager at Burscough Manor your role will involve:
- Taking the lead in ensuring that outstanding levels of clinical care are provided to resident all times
- Deputising for the Registered Manager in their absence
- Offer supervision support and training to Nurse Senior Carer and Care Assistant colleagues
- Ensuring at all times a safe caring stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors
- Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care across the home.
- Supervise mentor and support nursing and care staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Conduct clinical and internal audits risk assessments and care plan reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise coach and mentor care staff ensuring effective teamwork and professional development
- Collaborate with the Home Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to implement best practices and drive clinical excellence.
- Support the home in meeting CQC standards and other regulatory requirements
- Act as a role model for compassionate care promoting dignity respect and independence for all residents.
- Support with recruitment induction and training of new staff members.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and incident reporting procedures.
- Assess potential residents to support occupancy growth within the Home

What are we looking for
- Applicants should be dedicated proactive and trustworthy RGN’s or RMN’s with proven management experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential as are an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work and a keen interest in the professional development of themselves and others
- Must be a Registered Nurse holding a valid NMC pin
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
