Managing Director, Cyber Strategy and Risk

The Role

At Teneo we provide expert cyber security strategy risk and response advisory within a multi-disciplinary environment working closely with our strategy and communications risk advisory and restructuring teams across a globally connected platform.

We are seeking highly experienced Cyber Strategy and Risk Managing Directors to join our growing global cyber team. This role is suited to a senior cyber security professional with deep expertise across cyber strategy risk and technology regulatory domains including advising organisations on large-scale transformation following strategy and risk reviews.

As a Managing Director you will be responsible for building and guiding a market-facing cyber strategy and risk capability acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and boards on complex high-impact issues. You will support the growth of our cyber strategy and risk offering combining senior advisory delivery with business development market positioning and team building.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and grow Teneos cyber strategy risk and resilience offering defining market positioning developing propositions and driving sustained revenue growth
• Originate and deliver complex high-value engagements acting as a senior advisor to C-suite stakeholders and boards on critical business issues including transformation M&A restructuring regulation and geopolitics
• Shape and deliver large-scale cyber strategy and risk engagements including enterprise-wide assessments operating model design and transformation roadmap development
• Advise clients on cyber risk management operational resilience and regulatory readiness including frameworks such as DORA and NIS2
• Build and maintain senior client relationships acting as a trusted advisor on cyber risk technology transformation and long-term resilience
• Build lead and scale high-performing teams across jurisdictions developing senior talent and fostering a strong entrepreneurial culture
• Contribute to Teneos market profile through thought leadership publications public speaking and engagement with industry bodies and regulators

Key Skills & Experience

You will be a recognised leader in cyber strategy and risk with a strong track record of shaping client agendas originating work and delivering impact at the most senior levels.

• Extensive experience in cyber strategy risk and resilience with a track record of leading complex large-scale transformation and advisory engagements
• Demonstrated ability to originate and grow business with established relationships at C-suite board and senior risk and regulatory levels
• Recognised market profile in cyber strategy risk resilience and/or technology regulation with the ability to shape client thinking and influence senior decision-making
• Deep understanding of cyber risk management operating models regulatory frameworks and transformation approaches
• Experience across one or more domains such as risk quantification enterprise or solution architecture AI governance technology transformation or transaction-related due diligence
• Proven leadership capability with experience building scaling and leading high-performing teams in a global multi-disciplinary environment
