Job Summary

Sponsorship Acquisition & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a highimpact global sponsorship sales strategy to drive significant revenue growth
  • Identify approach and convert toptier brands into longterm WRC partners
  • Own the full commercial cycle: prospecting pitching negotiation and contract closure
  • Build compelling insightdriven partnership proposals in close collaboration with Marketing
  • Advance and translate WRCs global platform into clear commercial value for potential partners

Commercial Strategy & Market Development

  • Analyse market trends competitor activities and brand investment patterns to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Develop category strategies and targeted outreach plans for key verticals
  • Represent WRC at industry events conferences and trade fairs to expand the commercial pipeline and strengthen WRCs market position

CrossTeam Collaboration

  • Work closely within the CMO team esp. Partnership Management to ensure seamless handover from acquisition over activation towards upselling
  • Provide the game-changing impulses to Marketing (CMO team) Media and Events to shape innovative partnership assets and activation concepts
  • Invest time into co-developing with senior leadership actionable insights around commercial trends revenue forecasts and partnership performance

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Define and monitor KPIs for sponsorship acquisition and revenue growth
  • Constantly maintain a structured pipeline and provide comprehensive reporting to senior leadership ensuring updated data at any time
  • Focus on commercial deals aligning with WRCs brand media strategy and longterm commercial roadmap

Qualifications :

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development ideally in sports entertainment or media
  • Proven track record of closing highvalue multimarket sponsorship deals
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage senior decisionmakers at global brands
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Deep understanding of sponsorship activation brand partnerships and commercial analytics
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced international environment and manage multiple highvalue opportunities simultaneously
  • A proactive entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to win
