Job Summary
We build cutting-edge Cloud-based solutions which are used by over thousands of companies around the world predominantly in the US Canada Europe and Australia. Our customers include NASA 3M Disney Amazon and many others. With such a diverse user base there are countless ways that a Security Engineer will make an impact in our fast-growing organization.
As a security engineer youll assist our infosec team our partners auditors and vendors on the security aspects of our product suite. Youll also be expected to own the security environment of the product suite and take all necessary steps to ensure and implement industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis
Report possible threats or software issues
Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them
Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems
Understand software hardware and internet needs while adjusting them according to our business environment
Develop best practices and security standards for the organization
Test company software firmware and firewalls
Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity software hardware or IT needs
Requirements:
Ability to prioritize projects
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level
At least 2 years experience in the cybersecurity industry
BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science
Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
Basic coding skills such as HTML CSS and other languages
