About the Client

HRSI is leading executive search on behalf of their reputable client which is one of Asias oldest and finest exclusive members-only club based in Karachi. They are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Cost Controller.

• Qualifications: Bachelors in Finance Masters / CA / ACCA (preferred)
• Experience: 5 8 Years (relevant)
• Location: Karachi Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination of Club financial planning investment activities and budget management functions; ensure Club accounting procedures conform to GAAP & IFRS.
• Comply with cost management procedures and work instructions.
• Coordinate with various operations and support units to ensure timely and accurate cost data is available for preparation of cost reports.
• Prepare cost report updates and generate reports for review by Management.
• Perform cost data processing and analysis to provide Management with project status forecast and definitions of alternatives.
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Prepare cost of sales operating cost and other costs with timely and accurate completion.
• Perform reporting variances and supporting analysis in costing system.
• Conduct regular strategic review of results and forecasts.
• Prepare the Property Plant & Equipment and Inventory Schedules.
• Complete Gain/Loss report for disposal and reconcile to P&L and balance sheet.
• Review the monthly depreciation charge and manage the processing of additions and retirements to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner providing variance analysis on any movement.
• Carry out any other duty assigned by the management.
