Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:

CHIEF INFORMATION AND OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The Chief Information & Operational Technology Officer (CIOTO) leads the development and execution of the organizations enterprise technology strategy integrating Information Technology and Operational Technology to enable digital transformation strengthen cybersecurity and enhance operational efficiency across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for enterprise-wide Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) ensuring alignment with the organizations long-term business strategy and operational objectives.
• Direct and oversee nationwide IT infrastructure systems and technology operations ensuring high availability cybersecurity reliability and efficient service delivery across the enterprise.
• Lead the governance development implementation and integration of enterprise applications including SAP and other mission-critical platforms to support business continuity and operational excellence.
• Drive enterprise digital transformation initiatives including process automation advanced analytics ERP integrations system modernization and digital payment solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Formulate and execute a forward-looking enterprise IT and digital strategy ensuring alignment with corporate priorities emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Establish and maintain a robust enterprise cybersecurity and IT risk management framework ensuring the protection of organizational assets systems and data.
• Oversee the development and management of enterprise data architecture system integrations and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to enable data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
• Monitor and evaluate technology performance against defined service levels KPIs and governance standards ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Develop and enforce enterprise IT governance policies standards and compliance frameworks to support regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
• Lead and strengthen the organizations Business Continuity Management (BCM) and disaster recovery capabilities ensuring technology resilience and operational sustainability.
• Evaluate and conduct feasibility assessments for emerging technologies and digital initiatives to support innovation and long-term organizational growth.
• Partner with executive leadership and business units to enable technology-driven transformation strengthen risk management practices and deliver strategic business value.

Education Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution in any or combination of the disciplines preferably in Computer Science Software Engineering information technology or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Preferably 16 - 18 years of professional experience in Information technology in a large national/multinational organization with at least 7 years of related functional experience in a similar role at a senior equivalent position or one position below.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise IT strategy digital transformation ERP systems (SAP) cybersecurity and large-scale infrastructure management.
• Experience managing complex technology environments and multi-location IT operations.
• Professional certifications in IT governance SAP cybersecurity enterprise architecture or project management will be considered an advantage.
