Job Overview:

Role Overview The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning scheduling progress monitoring and forecasting across engineering procurement and construction phases. The role also supports delay analysis EOT submissions and ensures accurate reporting documentation and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain baseline schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project) including WBS milestones and critical path

Monitor progress update schedules and perform variance analysis (SPI delays float)

Develop consolidate and submit weekly/monthly progress reports (PPRs) to client and management

Prepare project dashboards S-curves and look-ahead plans for internal and external stakeholders

Track Planned vs Actual performance and highlight early warnings for delays

Perform forecasting and completion projections recommending recovery plans where required

Integrate procurement FAT and delivery schedules into the master plan

Maintain risk register and conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for delay events

Support preparation of EOT claims delay notices and contractual correspondence

Maintain planning records logs and document version control in coordination with document control

Coordinate with engineering procurement site teams and client/consultant for schedule alignment

Requirements

Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial or equivalent)

3 to 5 years of experience in EPC / construction / industrial projects Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project

Strong knowledge of planning forecasting and delay analysis

Experience in progress reporting S-curves and dashboards

Familiarity with EOT processes and contractual frameworks

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
