We are currently rebuilding our core platform including a complete revamp of our BI and data processing capabilities creating an exciting opportunity to shape how modern analytics is designed and implemented.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help design and build our next-generation data platform.

You will play a key role in creating a scalable high-performance data ecosystem that powers analytics reporting and business-critical functions such as invoicing and financial insights.

This is a hands-on role within a small collaborative team offering strong ownership and the opportunity to influence architecture tooling and best practices from the ground up.

What Youll Do

• Design and build a modern data platform to support analytics and reporting

• Develop and maintain data pipelines (batch and streaming)

• Implement real-time or near-real-time data processing solutions

• Collect and centralise data from game servers integrations and operator systems

• Support and evolve a data lake architecture

• Enable reporting analytics and financial calculations through robust data models

• Ensure data quality validation and consistency across systems

• Build and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards (Power BI)

• Collaborate with platform game server and integration teams to standardise data flows

• Work closely with Finance to support billing accuracy and reporting needs

• Contribute to best practices in modern data architecture and analytics

• Mentor and support junior team members

What Youll Bring

• Strong experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform development

• Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and processing systems

• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka or similar)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling

• Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or similar)

• Experience working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)

• Solid understanding of data lake and data warehousing concepts

• Ability to work across teams and understand end-to-end data flows

• A proactive problem-solving mindset with strong ownership

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in iGaming fintech SaaS or other platform-based businesses

• Exposure to financial or billing data use cases

• Experience working with large-scale event-driven systems

• Experience working in regulated environments

Were able to hire in Malta Hungary Poland and Bulgaria. For candidates in Hungary Poland or Bulgaria the position will initially be fully remote with the potential to move to a hybrid setup as we establish office hubs in those locations.
