Field Service Engineer (Level 1)

Are you looking for a position in a global organisation that prioritises its employees at all levels Rotork a global organisation is actively recruiting field service engineers in the Bergen Norway region.

This key role involves delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites addressing various technical issues and performing scheduled maintenance on our products. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team providing fast and efficient solutions to customer problems.

As part of this role you will be responsible for identifying faults performing repairs testing and modifying actuators in the workshop and offshore. You will also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators along with the associated retrofitting of components pedestals and drive shafts. Accurate and technical visit reports for each completed job are a key component of this role.

This opportunity is ideal for a determined problem solver who approaches troubleshooting logically and has the flexibility to travel offshore frequently including two-week stays.

Qualifications :

• Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves actuators and digital control systems or related equipment
• Good understanding of basic electronics electrical and fluid power theories.
• Ability to read and understand electrical pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams and use common testing and calibration tools.
• Experience from working in a practical engineering environment.
• Vocational qualification in automation industrial mechanics or industrial assembly.
• Class B driving licence.
• Languages: Norwegian and English.
