Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Configuration
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules primarily focused on ITSM (Incident Major Incident Problem Change Request Knowledge) tailored for OT scenarios.
Develop OT-specific workflows to support production incidents plant outages emergency changes and maintenance requests.
Build and maintain UI Policies Client Scripts Business Rules Script Includes ACLs and Flow Designer flows following best practices.
Configure SLAs/OLAs assignment rules notifications approvals and escalation paths aligned to plant operations and shift models.
CMDB & OT Asset Modeling
Extend and maintain CMDB to support OT assets such as production lines machines controllers PLCs and related components (as per architecture guidance).
Implement CI relationships and lifecycle updates (install maintenance decommission).
Support data quality checks audits and remediation activities for CMDB accuracy.
Integrations & Automation
Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs MID Server and data transforms.
Support ingestion of OT-related data/events (from SCADA MES EAM or monitoring tools) into ServiceNow workflows.
Implement robust error handling logging and retry mechanisms for integrations.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (server-side and client-side).
Solid experience with ITSM module implementations.
Good understanding of CMDB concepts CI classes and relationship modeling.
Experience developing integrations using REST APIs MID Server and data transforms.
Working knowledge of Flow Designer and automation patterns.
Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
