Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fit gap analyses for FI/CO processes documenting conversion requirements and impacts on period close reporting and compliance.
- Lead design workshops with finance and controlling stakeholders; produce functional specifications for FI (GL AP/AR AA Bank) and CO (Cost Centers Profitability Analysis Internal Orders).
- Configure FI/CO settings in the target system (chart of accounts fiscal year variant costing variants allocation cycles).
- Drive data migration activities: extract cleanse map and validate master data (GL accounts cost elements profit centers) using SAP tools (LSMW Data Services Migration Cockpit).
- Assess and guide remediation of custom ABAP code BAdIs and user exits affecting FI/CO.
- Develop and execute test scripts for unit integration and UAT; support defect resolution and ensure financial data integrity across cut over.
- Provide subject matter expertise during go live hyper care and post go live stabilization focusing on period close tax reporting and audit readiness.
- Create documentation (process flows SOPs training material) and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to finance super users.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7 years of SAP FI/CO implementation experience with at least 2 years on brownfield conversion projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of all FI sub modules and CO sub modules; familiarity with related integration points (MM SD PS).
- SAP FI/CO certification(s) preferred.
- Hands on experience with data migration tools (LSMW SAP Data Services Migration Cockpit) and SAP Solution Manager.
