Position Details
Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Hyderabad Hybrid
Role Overview:
Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer for the development of insurance web application and APIs. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop deploy web-based applications and APIs that ensure Chubbs compliance with industry regulations.
Skills Required :
- Automation Frameworks : Playwright Mainframe and Selenium
- Manual/functional and regression testing
- Test plan and Test case preparation/writing
- AI tools usage for QA
- Stake holder management and Team player.
- Insurance : P & C Knowledge
Preferred Skills : Playwright Manual/Functional testing AI Tools P&C background Mainframe
Roles & Responsibilities :
- 4 to 10 years of experience in automation and functional testing.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related STEM field or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript Java
- Knowledgeable about testing methodologies and automation tools.
- Property & Casualty insurance domain experience secondary skill set.
- Advanced proficiency in test case design and execution.
- Strong programming skills for test automation.
- Extensive knowledge of testing tools including Playwright Selenium APIs SQL
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes.
- Experience in applying AI-driven approaches to enhance Quality Engineering practices by accelerating automation development reducing manual effort improving test coverage and supporting smarter test design and maintenance.
