Project RISE

RISE (Reaching Impact Saturation and Epidemic Control) project focusing on HIV epidemic control is a global health project funded by the U.S. Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the Department of State.

RISE technical priorities include strengthening three 95s in the HIV Prebention Care Continuum for High Risk and PLHIV along with sustaining innovating and demonstrating new models of service delivery linkage and integration including cross cutting area on Health system strengthening in Mumbai & Telangana. Support will be tailored to address specific gaps and priorities depending on state-specific context.

Responsibilities

The Technical Expert (SI) in collaboration with MDACS will provide technical assistance in data analysis to strengthen the HIV Prevention Care Continuum for effective epidemic control.

The specific duties will include:

  1. Provide technical support to the SIMU division to develop/strengthen and implement the monitoring and evaluation systems for tracking program activities and results as per NACO guidelines.
  2. Assist in developing data management tools heat maps prediction models analytical frameworks dashboards and innovations to ensure continuous and harmonized data collection validation analysis for effective decision making strategies
  3. Support the team to monitor implementation of program activities by setting up regular work plan reviews reports organizing and participating in field visits initiating data reviews and conducting program evaluations
  4. Work closely with SIMU division in data analysis data visualization by using tools such as power BI or Tableau and geo-mapping tools.
  5. Assist in regular trainings of district staff and NGOs to strengthen understanding of data systems and reporting.
  6. Any other work assigned by supervisor within ambit of the Project Rise.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree; additional data analytical training or certification will be an asset
  2. Minimum 07-12 years work experience as a data analyst.
  3. Experience in working on large HIV related data sets
  4. Excellent ability in using Power BI Tableau ARC GIS etc
  5. Experience in leading facility-based program monitoring and evaluation activities will be preferred.
  6. Excellent written and oral communication liaison and negotiation skills
  7. Self-motivated with a strong ability and drive to lead project activities independently with minimal supervision
