Job Summary
Overall Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and maintain cloud-based applications systems and infrastructure
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions code and documentation
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned cloud projects including communication with stakeholders
- Analyze and define technical specifications and standards based on business needs
- Ensure proper implementation and integration of web-based and cloud-native applications
- Monitor system performance proactively troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions that add value to business operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deliver cloud solutions
- Ensure solutions are robust scalable secure and costefficient
- Maintain high standards for reliability availability and performance of cloud environments
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong understanding of cloud services and architectures including compute storage networking and security
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure hosting environments
- Solid knowledge of:
- Application hosting and distributed systems
- Networking concepts (VPNs TCP/IP firewalls routing DNS)
- Security technologies (authentication authorization PKI encryption)
- Clear understanding of how infrastructure components work together to provide reliable and secure environments
- Familiarity with IT security best practices threat protection and compliance requirements
- Ability to assess trade-offs in connected or embedded systems including protocols and integration considerations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
(Optional Nice to Have)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ARM CloudFormation)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes)
Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Professional certification in cloud computing such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior team members
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
