Your work profile
- Strong experience in working with business and global team to manage budgeting and monthly forecasts planning process that includes Revenue Expenses Cash Flows and Balance Sheet to prepare Annual Operating Budgets and track performance against Targets for Global Banks.
- Strong experience in Finance processes including planning budgeting forecasting P&L analysis financial modelling and management reporting.
- Performing variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to senior managers explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.
- Good experience in developing and tracking performance metrics creating presentations and providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze operating expenses (OPEX) and identify cost-saving opportunities. Drive cost optimization initiatives across functions while maintaining operational efficiency. Establish and track cost control mechanisms and governance frameworks.
- Define and monitor KPIs and financial metrics (e.g. cost ratios productivity metrics margin analysis). Highlight risks opportunities and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and experience of data architecture finance and accounting systems plus reporting requirements (US GAAP or IRFS).
- Provide support to Analysis & Insights team for articulating business drivers as well as risk to Senior Stakeholders.
- Hands on analyzing large set of financial data creating and maintaining financial models to identify trends and provide insights and support business in decision making for senior management.
- Experience of designing implementing and maintaining an effective control framework to ensure high quality repeatable delivery.
- Strong experience in providing support to transformation team in strategic initiatives and create and deliver presentations of business analysis trends metrics and conclusions.
- Working with the business to understand their products alongside Technical BAs and Engineers to document module specifications and build calculations for large scale transformation programme.
- Strong experience in Finance Change or Transformation programme and preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRD) Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and performing UAT testing.
- Very good in building positive stakeholder relationships by providing regular updates obtain buy-in from project sponsor and driving Steering Committees etc. for all key project plans commitments and changes including requirements.
- Good experience in taking accountability of project quality identifies opportunities to improve delivery and oversees the governance process to ensure timely decisions are taken
- Strong experience in performing controls testing design and implementation testing operating effectiveness testing for various finance processes.
Key skills required
- 8-15 years of experiencein Business and Finance functions like FP&A Project planning ChangeDeliveryand Budgeting in Global Banks.
- Qualification - CA or MBA.
- Commercial business knowledge that includes a solid understanding of the strategic objectives of the Global Businesses and Group with ability to communicate these confidently to all stakeholder groups.
- Execution orientated: proactive escalation of issues whilst maintaining a solution-focused mindset and flexible approach
- Project management methodologies like Waterfall and Agile would be preferred.
- Experience in Power BI and Alteryx will be viewed favorably.
- Clear and Concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders.
- Can work effectivelyindependently and a part of the team.
