Global Payroll Specialist
Job Summary
The Global Payroll Specialist supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple countries. This includes managing payroll operations maintaining compliance with international labor laws and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. This role requires strong organizational skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders globally.
- Supports the Payroll and Benefits Manager with end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries in coordination with local payroll Deel Payroll providers.
- Assist with ensuring timely and accurate pay cycles in partnership with Deel.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy and reconcile discrepancies before final approval.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll journals and reports for Finance.
- Assist with ensuring data integrity in the Deel portal including the update of cost centres.
- Providing support with ongoing issues submitted via Deel ticketing system
- Assisting with the escalation of unresolved issues to Deel Client Success Manager.
- Collaborate with HR Finance and external vendors to resolve payroll issues.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local labor tax and social security regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay deductions taxes and other payroll-related matters.
- Assist with audits and internal controls related to payroll processes.
- Assist with the maintenance of members in company private medical insurance scheme
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and payroll-related projects.
- Any other task related to payroll administration assigned by Ergomed Management team.
Qualifications :
Previous payroll processing experience working in a fast paced customer focussed environment preferably using Deel ADP or similar Payroll Management systems.
Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
Evidence of strong administrative and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively while considering future organisational requirements.
Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a strong eye for detail.
Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups.
Appropriate University Degree desirable.
