In this role you will work as a Product Manager for Global Payments will ensure that Western Union has will own and set the strategy for your product line and be accountable for execution of that strategy.

Role Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and roadmap forthe product lines of digital payments for Western Unions global markets.
• Think strategically and creatively to gather product and process insights from customers and key internal / external stakeholders
• Is perceived as a go to product leader for the team set clear expectations for the team and drive team engagement and incorporate short- and long-term development goals of the team members.
• Proposing solutions that promote organizational key performance indicators and follow-up with analytics teams to measure success.
• Own therequirementdefinition research metrics analysis testing launch and ongoing optimizations.
• Be the subject matter expert on digital formultiplepaymentflows.
• Excellent communication skills as this role will requireliasoning with cross functional teamsacross business regions engineering PMO monitoring teams
• Should have worked in churning out product funnels experience in Analytics forascertainingthe product performance (any tool like Google Analytics Amplitudeetc)
• Understand product alternatives and work with multi-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and put value on will define and document product requirements features and functionality.
• Partner closely with engineers operations product marketing sales customer success risk and finance to ensure our clients are at the center of everything we build and thattheyredelighted by our work.
• Manage products through the product development lifecycle ensuring that proper alignment and approvals are obtained from Legal CompliancePrivacyand Infosec so that development timelines are not jeopardized.
• Lead in-house teams using agile scrummethodologydrafting business requirements prioritizing features authoring user stories and acceptance criteria and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications.
• Provide ongoing analysisonproduct effectiveness using a data driven approach.
• Anticipates user needs based on research and the user journey; teaches research techniques and guides teams to distil pain points and bring the voice of the user back to product teams
• Sets strategicobjectives prioritizationprinciplesand philosophy; leads development of 12-month product roadmap and release plan; focuses team on emerging technology emerging trends and opportunities
• Revisesprioritizesand triages initiatives for resource allocation; works with stakeholders to synchronize work and make prioritization trade-off decisions coordinates with Agile Teams and stakeholders to agree on goalsprioritiesand dependencies; reviews stories whenrequired
• Helpplan interpret andvalidateiteration and testing results; reviews and approves metrics
• Articulates actionable insights leads team in resolving incidents; looks for processes and systems to improve analysis
• Identifiesrisks and may implement mitigation strategies; ensures team understandsimportanceof risk management;ideates and maydesign controls foridentifiedrisk. Escalates risk events and/or gaps intimelyfashion. Mayparticipatein retrospectives or Risk Review Forums. Partners with First- and Second-Line Risk groups to ensure alignment with the firms risk appetite.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners toanticipaterisks.
• Identifiesand tests risk controls and ensures compliance
• Engages audience displays strongpresenceand clearly articulates key messages and takeaways; creates stakeholder map impactanalysisand communication plan;establishestrusted relationships with partners & leverages network

Role Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of overall experience with at least 8 years in Digital Product Management experience preferably in B2C consumer facing environment. (Financial services is a plus)
• Consumer product management experience with a deep understanding of the technical ecosystems.
• Proventrack recordof leading the development and implementation of successful product strategies with excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with teams indifferent locations.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in business engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong business writing numerical analysis presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Get thingsdone attitude;with self-motivated with the ability to roll-up sleeves and prioritize critical deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a penchant for creating great customer experiences.
• Ability to break down complex experiences into simple documents stories and in developing user flows and collaboration Diagrams.
• Experience with customer research and usability testing methodologies.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries withdifferent culturalbackgrounds.
• Previousexperience of lean and agile working methodologies.
• Team player with ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to constantly deep dive and take decisions based on data.
