Job Summary
Job Title : Manager - Surveillance
Experience : 5-9 Years
Location : Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor scrip movements price and trading volumes
- Generate and manage surveillance alerts in case management systems
- Analyze intraday and surveillance alerts for irregularities
- Monitor and enforce penalties (Algo tagging OTR ratios)
- Draft show cause notices for trading members
- Identify stocks for price band changes and trade restrictions
- Track and implement ASM/GSM surveillance measures
- Conduct rumour verification and communicate with companies
- Stay updated on market developments and stock activity
- Prepare and share MIS reports BOD/EOD reports with stakeholders
Requisites
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance Commerce or related field
- Experience in market surveillance / stock exchange operations
- Knowledge of equity markets trading patterns and regulations
- Understanding of ASM/GSM and surveillance frameworks
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience in reporting and MIS preparation
- Attention to detail with risk and compliance focus
- Good communication and documentation skills
