Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Aspect E/CTRM Developer to support and enhance trading risk and operations processes for our client Valterra Platinum. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Aspect ETRM/CTRM platform along with solid development experience in C#/.NET. This role involves working across front middle and back-office functions to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop configure and support solutions within the Aspect ETRM/CTRM platform
• Develop and maintain C#/.NET-based customizations extensions and integrations
• Configure modules related to:
  • Trading
  • Scheduling
  • Risk
  • Settlements
  • Invoicing
• Support physical and financial commodity workflows including:
  • Trade lifecycle management
  • Nominations & scheduling
  • Settlements
  • P&L and risk analysis
• Develop and maintain interfaces between Aspect and external systems such as:
  • ERP systems
  • Market data providers
  • Pricing and reporting tools
  • Accounting systems
• Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
• Participate in system upgrades patching and performance tuning
• Collaborate with traders risk operations and finance teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation
• Support testing UAT and deployment activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in E/CTRM or ETRM domain
• Strong hands-on experience in C# development
• Experience with Aspect ETRM/CTRM platform including:
  • APIs
  • Data models
  • Configuration tools
• Strong expertise in SQL / Databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
• Experience in building interfaces batch jobs and real-time integrations
• Good understanding of the commodity trading lifecycle
• Exposure to:
  • Market data feeds
  • Pricing curves
  • Valuation models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of financial/commodity risk management concepts
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
