Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Information Management (PIM) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Akeneo PIM. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing implementing and supporting Akeneo-based product information solutions for eCommerce and omnichannel businesses.

The candidate will work closely with business product eCommerce and integration teams to manage product data improve data quality and enable seamless product information flow across channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Akeneo PIM solutions based on business requirements.
• Design and maintain product data models product families attributes categories reference entities and asset structures.
• Configure workflows completeness rules validations localization and channel-specific product data.
• Import export cleanse and enrich product information using CSV Excel APIs and connectors.
• Integrate Akeneo PIM with ERP eCommerce DAM CRM marketplace and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations custom connectors and middleware solutions.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality governance approval workflows and compliance across product catalogs.
• Troubleshoot issues related to product imports exports APIs data mapping and synchronization.
• Support go-live hypercare and ongoing enhancements.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience in Product Information Management (PIM).
• Hands-on experience in Akeneo PIM.
• Strong understanding of: Product families attributes variants categories channels locales Reference entities and asset management Product enrichment and catalog governance Data quality and completeness rules
• Experience with REST APIs JSON / XML / CSV PHP Symfony MySQL Elasticsearch API integration and middleware
• Knowledge of integrations with Magento / Adobe Commerce Shopify ERP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle ERP DAM systems and marketplace platforms
• Strong understanding of omnichannel product information and eCommerce ecosystems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Akeneo Enterprise Edition or SaaS version.
• Experience in B2B / B2C eCommerce implementations.
• Exposure to data migration and master data management (MDM).
• Experience with other PIM tools such as Pimcore Salsify or inRiver.
• Certification or project experience in Akeneo PIM.
