Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge fintech products through comprehensive testing automation and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Job Responsibilities

* Design develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scripts for complex software applications focusing on functionality performance security and usability.
* Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and continuous testing.
* Perform various types of testing including functional regression integration system performance and user acceptance testing.
* Identify document and track software defects working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with product managers business analysts and developers to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
* Contribute to the improvement of QA processes methodologies and tools to enhance overall product quality and team efficiency.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
* Participate in code reviews and design discussions to provide a quality perspective.
* Monitor and analyze test results provide comprehensive reports and make recommendations for product improvements.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends tools and technologies.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
* 5 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.
* Proven expertise in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Playwright Cypress TestNG JUnit).
* Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python C# JavaScript).
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
* Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman SoapUI) and database testing (SQL).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps).
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
* Excellent analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
* Prior experience in the FinTech domain is a significant plus.
* ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
