Equity Research Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Equity Research & Media Spokesperson with deep expertise across equities derivatives cryptocurrencies global indices and commodities. This is a senior high-visibility role where the candidate will not only drive market analysis but also represent the organization as the face of the brand across media and public platforms.

Role Objective

To serve as a cornerstone of the firm’s intellectual capital. This dual-impact role requires a seasoned veteran who can deliver 'alpha-generating' investment strategies while acting as the primary face of the firm across national financial media and high-stakes client forums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced technical analysis using price charts patterns indicators and oscillators across multiple asset classes.
• Market Intelligence: Translate complex technical data into clear persuasive narratives for retail and institutional audiences. Track macroeconomic trends and intermarket relationships across equities commodities currencies and crypto markets.
• Develop validate and backtest technical trading strategies using historical data.
• Sector Oversight: Lead the research agenda for key sectors ensuring timely updates on quarterly earnings corporate actions and industry trends.
• Investment Committee: Play a pivotal role in the Model Portfolio construction ensuring risk-adjusted returns that outperform benchmarks like the Nifty 50.
• Quality Control: Review and sign off on thematic reports ensuring the highest standards of fundamental analysis (DCF Relative Valuation).
• HNI & Institutional Advisory: Conduct high-level briefings for Ultra-HNI clients and institutional fund managers.
• Internal Synergy: Collaborate with the Wealth Management and Investment Banking arms to provide macro insights for deal-making and portfolio rebalancing.
• Deliver high-quality research reports insights and market commentary for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for market views across media channels interviews webinars and digital platforms.
• Client interaction as per required.
• Collaborate with trading research and content teams to align analysis with broader market narratives.
• Maintain detailed research documentation and continuously update dashboards and analytical frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Economics Statistics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15 years of hands-on experience in equity and derivatives markets along with strong exposure to cryptocurrencies and global markets.
• Proven expertise in technical analysis tools and methodologies including Elliott Wave Fibonacci RSI MACD Moving Averages Volume Profile and Trend Analysis.
• Proficiency in platforms such as TradingView MetaTrader Bloomberg Terminal or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of multi-asset markets including equities commodities (Gold Crude) indices (NIFTY Dow S&P 500) and major cryptocurrencies (BTC ETH).
• Excellent communication presentation and report-writing skills with the ability to simplify complex market insights.
• Strong on-camera presence and confidence in handling media interactions and public appearances.
• (Optional) Knowledge of Python Excel or quantitative tools for backtesting and automation.

Mandatory Requirement:

Valid Research Analyst License (NISM Series XV Certification) is compulsory.

CFA / CMT (Chartered Market Technician) / CFTe
