Job Summary

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Reverse Engineering & New Product Development)
Location: Cochin

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in electromechanical design to support reverse engineering and new product development. The role involves working with global teams to analyze recreate and develop products through the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reverse engineering of components and assemblies
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using PTC Creo
- Identify materials and define specifications
- Support prototype builds testing and certification
- Develop and assist in production tooling
- Deliver production-ready components and first articles
- Collaborate with global engineering and product teams
- Support sourcing of components including local vendors
- Assist in certification processes (ATEX IECEx)
- Maintain engineering documentation and version control

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design
- Hands-on experience with PTC Creo
- Experience in reverse engineering and product development
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in connector manufacturing industry
Familiarity with ATEX / IECEx certification standards
Experience in supplier coordination and sourcing
Knowledge of PLM systems
