Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

The project is a 1-year deployment of a system that includes a combination of on-site hardware and cloud-hosted systems that support traveler information and travel events being managed sent to the public (via phone web apps email/text).

Requirements

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are MANDATORY:

Ten (10) years of professional project management experience.
Five (5) years of experience in intelligent transportation systems;
Experience presenting information to technical and nontechnical audiences;
Must have PMP certification
Project Manager is expected to directly produce or oversee/facilitate the following deliverables:

Gap analysis
Meetings/agendas (bi-weekly)
Project operational plan
Cutover plan
Data conversion plan
Design specification document
Requirements traceability matrix
Manual and automated testing plans including:

Performance testing plan
Test scenarios
Test results

Onsite training (Baton Rouge) including training plan and materials

Experience identifying and managing risks and issues associated with projects;
Experience analyzing project performance and providing recommendations for improvement.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

Experience establishing and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

The primary work location will be: Hybrid - either working with the client in Baton Rouge or working with us remotely.
