Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor (LTC)
Location: Newark NY
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Night Shift 36 Hours/Week
- 3 8-hour shifts (3:00 PM 11:00 PM / 11:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- 1 12-hour shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Every Other Weekend Required
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to oversee clinical operations in a Long-Term Care (LTC)/Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care supervising nursing staff and maintaining compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate nursing operations during assigned shifts
- Provide leadership guidance and support to nursing and support staff
- Ensure delivery of safe high-quality patient care in an LTC/SNF environment
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical issues emergencies and escalations
- Monitor patient care activities and ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Assist with staffing coordination assignments and workflow management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using EPIC EMR
- Respond to incidents provide direction during emergencies and ensure proper follow-up
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience (required)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
