Temple Facilities Training Specialist

Job Summary
This role helps ensure temple facilities teams worldwide are trained capable and aligned to maintain temples at the highest standards.
The position combines facilities expertise with learning and development leadership to create and deliver training methods improve performance and support consistent practices across all temple facilities teams.
Responsibilities
- Learning & Development: Identify training and development needs with temple facilities leadership. Design create and implement strategies and methods for technical leadership and process training.
- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs (e.g. TFMS maintenance practices new systems etc.). Create learning paths for onboarding certification and ongoing development. Facilitate training sessions and provide coaching to leaders staff and trainers.
- Program Management: Track training completion certifications and compliance. Maintain training materials documentation and knowledge resources. Measure and improve training effectiveness.
- Operational Support: Advise leaders on workforce development and training implementation. Support rollout of new processes tools and improvements.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to align training with organizational needs. Support leadership development for facilities managers. Promote key division principles: alignment sacredness unity and excellence.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Temple Recommend.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in facilities education instructional design or related field.
- At least 5 years demonstrated expertise in instructional design and training development within facilities management industry preferred.
- Strong communication training and coaching skills.
- Ability to work across teams and influence outcomes.
Preferred:
- Experience in temple facilities or similar environments.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and building infrastructure.
- Extensive expertise with learning systems or instructional design.
- Experience with continuous improvement methods.
- Second language (Spanish preferred)
