As a Government Affairs & Strategic Partnerships Manager you will lead market expansion by securing access to critical infrastructure managing relationships with key stakeholders and driving operational success in a highly regulated environment. You will develop strategic partnerships with public and private entities navigate complex government processes and ensure compliance while establishing access to high-value transportation hubs across the country.
About the Role
- Secure high-impact locations for bus stops and stations by leveraging government relationships and private-sector negotiation skills
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies municipal councils and regulatory bodies to support business growth
- Align commercial objectives with government policies by identifying opportunities and mitigating regulatory risks
- Represent the company in discussions with transportation authorities and prepare materials for hearings and public consultations
- Lead site acquisition and development efforts ensuring compliance with zoning permitting and safety standards across jurisdictions
- Develop partnerships with businesses transit agencies and property owners to enhance station access and amenities
- Serve as the primary contact for station-related and government relations matters advocating for the company in infrastructure planning forums
About You
- 4 years of experience in business development strategic partnerships or real estate development including work with government entities
- Demonstrated success in securing agreements with government agencies or private stakeholders to support business growth
- 12 years of project management experience with strong knowledge of transportation regulations and public transit systems
- Skilled in negotiation stakeholder management and analyzing policies to identify risks and opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with experience presenting to senior officials and business leaders
- Familiarity with real estate transactions land-use planning commercial leasing and infrastructure development; willing to travel as needed
