Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and direct the U.S. Hatchery team to provide highquality products to customers globally achieve financial and operational objectives and maintain effective communication with customers and shared services. The role ensures compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards develops and maintains qualified team members across all positions fosters a strong safety culture in all facilities and protects genetic security and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead and manage the U.S. Hatchery team to meet quality financial and business objectives.
Maintain strong communication with customers and internal shared services groups.
Ensure compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare objectives.
Recruit develop and retain qualified and effective team members.
Promote and maintain a culture of safety across all hatchery facilities.
Safeguard genetic security and integrity across operations.

Requirements

Education

Broad knowledge in a professional field typically obtained through four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Experience

10 years of hatchery and poultryrelated management experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals using standard computer programs.

Supervisory Responsibility

Directly manages 5 salaried positions and oversees a team of 40 indirect salaried positions.

Travel

Required domestic travel to 7 hatcheries across 6 states.

Physical Requirements

Must use safe lifting techniques.
Regularly required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; and hear.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment

Required to follow all facility safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.

Biosecurity & Animal Welfare

Must comply with all biosecurity protocols including mandatory showerin procedures prior to entering job sites.
Companyissued clothing and footwear must be worn; no jewelry is permitted except approved medical ID jewelry.
Must be willing to sign an agreement confirming avoidance of avian species (chickens ducks birds).
Must follow the Companys Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
