Position Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in project management including administrative and technical support to the Field Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the field leadership team to support the overall process of Structural Steel Erection and Miscellaneous Metals Installation on multiple projects
  • Prepare coordinate review and execute field installation/ erection submittals sub-contracts blueprints/drawings and other critical documents
  • Communicate and coordinate with project management & field operations team to maintain schedule and delivery of materials
  • Assist in establishing schedules that include preconstruction planning submittals shipping erection and closeout procedures
  • Assist Field Teams in performing and documenting project badging requirements
  • Effectively organize and maintain documents for the project file

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year post-secondary degree in a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in construction or steel fabrication/erection preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; scheduling software (Microsoft Project Primavera) preferred
  • Valid US drivers license is required
  • Knowledge of Trimble and Bluebeam software programs is a plus
  • Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in steel construction
  • Knowledge of safety quality and cost control standards and procedures
  • Ability to understand and apply varying levels of mathematics relevant to the position
  • Possess at minimum the tools as required to field measure verify and audit basic conformity standards
