The Position
As a Biostatistician (f/m/d) in our team you are the analytical engine behind the next generation of medical a multidisciplinary environment you generate the statistical evidence crucial for the global regulatory approval of life-saving tests. Our team is distributed across Penzberg Mannheim and Indianapolis working across regions and indications within the Core Lab and Near Patient Care customer areas.
What you can expect
Responsibility for planning and executing statistical analyses for complex studies ensuring project results are delivered on schedule.
Ensuring the application of state-of-the-art methods and Machine Learning within the team while further developing our analytical pipelines.
Independent programming of statistical software (primarily in R) and performing root-cause analysis for complex issues arising during study execution.
Acting as a Statistical Translator by presenting results in an audience-appropriate manner to partners in Regulatory Affairs Clinical Operations and R&D.
Providing functional guidance and mentoring to team members and students to foster internal knowledge exchange.
Actively participating in internal Communities of Practice to continuously evolve methodological and programming standards.
Who You Are
A Bachelors Masters or PhD in Statistics Biostatistics Mathematics Physics or a comparable quantitative field.
Several years of relevant professional experience (57 years for Masters / 35 years for PhD) ideally in the field of complex clinical trials.
Proficient programming skills ideally in R and experience managing large datasets.
Solid command of modern statistical modeling techniques and their application within a regulated environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently represent complex statistical theories and results to non-specialist stakeholders.
An independent working style analytical thinking and a strong team-oriented mindset.
This position is limited to a duration of two years.
