Facility Overview:
Outpatient Neurology & Ophthalmology Clinic with 8 exam rooms supporting a high-volume patient environment.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Travel LPN/LVN to support a busy outpatient Neurology and Ophthalmology clinic. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care assisting with specialized diagnostic procedures and ensuring efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and RNs
- Room patients record vital signs and document medical histories
- Assist with neurological and ophthalmologic procedures including EMG and EEG testing
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms ensuring proper sterilization of equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Educate patients on procedures medications and follow-up care
- Coordinate patient flow across exam rooms for optimal efficiency
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain clinical supplies and ensure proper stocking of exam rooms
- Deliver compassionate patient-centered care
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel requirement)
- Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Required Qualifications:
- Active LPN/LVN license (Georgia or Compact State)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Neurology Ophthalmology or outpatient settings preferred
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong clinical organizational and patient care skills
