The Global Medical Affairs Lead - Infection & Immunity will work closely with the International Business team (IBT) to create and execute the medical plan along with key initiatives and strategies to support the global utilization of related Roche Molecular Diagnostics products.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Oversees the global medical and scientific strategy for key assets in the Infection & Immunity portfolio
Maintains a close partnership with global Access Commercial Regulatory Clinical Development and R&D teams to translate emerging scientific trends into actionable medical strategies and evidence generation ensuring Roches innovative diagnostic solutions meet evolving clinical needs and improve patient outcomes.
Cultivate deep peer-to-peer relationships with therapeutic area experts and collaborative groups to align scientific initiatives with global medical activities and organizational leadership commitments.
Direct the execution of non-registrational clinical trials and IIS programs while facilitating open communication to align global study strategies across functional areas.
Distill complex scientific insights into clear compelling narratives for medical education and payer dossiers.
Other responsibilities include supporting the global commercial success of Roche products.
WHO YOU ARE
You hold a degree (MD PhD or PharmD or equivalent experience in diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry) with a specialized background in Virology Immunology or Infectious Diseases.
You have 8 years experience in the academic diagnostic pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
You are comfortable with or willing to use AI tools in your day to day work
You have a proven track record of leading influencing and strategic decision making in a matrixed environment
Preferred Experience:
You will have prior experience working in a lab environment and/or molecular assay development
The expected salary range for this position is based on the primary location of Pleasanton CA -Off Campus is: 00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
