GENERAL CLEANER RESPONSIBILTIES:
Responsible for cleaning warehouse applying chemicals properly while using PPE removing trash keeping all areas clean and tidy vacuuming replace liners to trash receptacles and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
SCHEDULES:
Full-time and Part-time available shfits:
- Mon - Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Mon - Fri 4:00pm - 12:30am
- Tue - Sat 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Sat & Sun 6:00am - 2:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Clean warehouse by vacuuming sweeping mopping disinfecting and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
- Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.
- Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using proper cleaners sponges and squeegees.
- Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
- Clean and service restrooms to include sinks toilets and urinals with mops and proper disinfectants.
- Move heavy furniture to vacuum/sweep underneath as needed
- Clean sinks countertops microwave coffee makers and refrigerators in break rooms
- Empties cardboard and plastic recycling and compacts
- Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained.
- Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor
- Executing heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Ability to work in team environment
- Adhere to all general safety rules
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for an extended period of time; use a backpack vacuum; use hands and fingers handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop kneel squat crawl speak and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
