Job Summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is looking for an experienced project and program manager to lead our topology. You will work closely with leadership and AMZL support areas to drive our physical footprint expansion. The Topology Planning Manager coordinates across topology capacity engineering and other teams to develop and execute topology planning strategies. This role oversees the planning of all types of delivery and pick-up nodes and manages all aspects of topology planning including capacity calculations volume forecasting and building selection decisions. This role also coordinates with other miles the plan creation and synergy opportunities. Working in both regular planning cycles and BAU the Topology Planning Manager create and evaluate various topology scenarios to optimize topology design and ensure planning efficiency. The Topology Planning Manager also coordinates with Operations Real Estate and Engineering the selection of new expansion sites.

To be successful in this role you must be able to work across disciplines organizations and geographies translating complex technical and operational concepts for varied audiences. You must think big move fast and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in logistics is a plus.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex business decision process from start to finish.
- Analyze long-term planning data to identify density opportunities in support of leadership; model this data to assist in mounting a strategic expansion plan.
- Perform financial trade-offs for decision making.
- Write business cases in support of new sites and initiatives using data from multiple stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and capacity growth.
- Perform problem solving -- evaluating alternatives and identifying solutions using innovative frugal methods.

A day in the life
You will:
- Work with teams across Amazon to scope project requirements including Topology Capacity Planning Real Estate Engineering etc.
- Manage site selection process including making sure that all stakeholders are kept up-to-date.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure we make the right long term decisions.

About the team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazons Last Mile delivery service responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to homes and businesses across the planet. Within AMZL Brazil the Growth & Expansion team overlooks 2 main areas in support to AMZLs operation and growth: (1) Jurisdiction planning and management driving the growth and optimization of our delivery/pick-up coverage and topology; ; and (2) Expansion initiatives coordinating local efforts on big rock projects that enable new types of operations new sales and delivery channels modes of transport (Fleet types micromobility) and end-to-end programmatic coordination of AMZLs network expansion.

- Bachelors degree
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience in English-language communication skills both written and verbal

- Masters degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
