Responsibilities

Performs scheduling functions asdesignatedby practice.Coordinates incomingand outgoingreferrals for office visitsand diagnostic testing.Obtains insurance authorization prior to visit.Requires general knowledge of specified procedures insurance authorizationsand other related functions.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Demonstrated knowledge ofMedicalterminology
Two years ofpreviousmedical related scheduling experience
Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills
Demonstrated knowledge and skill inutilizationof computer application
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Ability to type 40 words per minute
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individualsinall levels of responsibility.
Ability to work independently.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system
Three years ofpreviousmedical related scheduling experience

8:00AM - 4:30PM
