Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients; take vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy EKGs vaccines and POC testing
- Assist providers with procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Handle calls and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements
- 23 years of Medical Assistant experience (no externship)
- Strong front & back office experience
- Experience with phlebotomy EKG POC and EMR systems
- Good communication and multitasking skills
- BLS or CPR certification required
Preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
