Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate reliable Companion Caregiver to provide support and companionship for an elderly client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others values meaningful one-on-one interaction and is available for short flexible shifts throughout the week.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light daily activities (conversation hobbieswalks etc.)
- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments errands and social outings
- Offer reminders for medications and daily routines (non-medical)
- Ensure client comfort safety and overall well-being during visits
Schedule:
- Short shifts (typically 24 hours)
- Flexible scheduling; weekday and/or weekend availability preferred
Qualifications:
- Prior care giving or companion experience preferred (not required)
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient dependable and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate
- Mileage reimbursement for transportation provided for the client
