Job Summary
Essential Functions
Aid in general building/facilities maintenance. Moving Furniture Move furniture/equipment within facilities as well as to and from storage areas and keep records of items being moved. These items include but are not limited to tables chairs file cabinets desks lockers instructional equipment and office equipment. (Seasonal) Care and Upkeep of Lawns by mowing trimming raking and watering lawns. Climbs ladders to perform tasks such as changing light bulbs and gaining access to equipment and roofs. Keeps the grounds clean from litter and trash Pick up or deliver supplies and deliveries throughout the campus as needed. Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Ensures the proper maintenance of tools and equipment by cleaning and checking them after use. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
At least sixteen (16) years of age or older Valid Drivers License Ability to Qualify for Auto Insurance Coverage Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in maintenance or repair.
