Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader
Location: Chorley
Salary: 38636 per annum (based on rota and sleep-ins)
Hourly Rate: 16 per hour
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off (condensed shifts)
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep-ins: Approx. 10 per month at 65 per sleep
Service: Childrens Residential Home
Service Users: Children & Young People aged 717 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience Required: Experience within a childrens residential setting supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours
The Home:
A 4-bed childrens home providing care and support to young people with EBD. The service focuses on creating stability structure and positive outcomes for children who have experienced trauma and adversity.
Number of beds: 4
Who we are looking for:
A confident and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or an ambitious Residential Support Worker ready to step up into a Team Leader role. You will be comfortable leading shifts supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding.

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).
Candidates with only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
