Location: Burnsville MN
Shift: 7am 3pm Monday - Friday
Pay: $24
Employment Type: Full time trial to hire!
About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a manufacturing company and we are looking for a Maintenance Technician like you to join their team! This entry-level role focuses on maintaining repairing and installing equipment and machinery while supporting daily facility operations.
What Youll Be Doing:
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance assigned by a supervisor
Inspecting repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery
Troubleshooting equipment issues using hand and power tools
Reading and understanding basic machine schematics
Practicing safety procedures including OSHA guidelines and lock-out/tag-out
Communicating with supervisors and team members to resolve maintenance issues
Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned
What makes you a great fit:
12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Valid drivers license required
General knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read basic machine schematics
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently handle materials up to 20 lbs
Willingness to learn new equipment tools and measuring instruments
