Position Overview
The Learning Experience East Brunswick is seeking a dependable and engaging Lead Twos Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting potty-training readiness language development and social-emotional growth during this important transition stage.
What Youll Do
Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe nurturing learning environment
Implement age-appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Support early language development independence and peer interaction
Guide daily routines including toileting meals transitions and rest time
Maintain an organized engaging classroom environment
Communicate regularly with families about milestones and daily progress
Partner with assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom structure
Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Childcare daycare or toddler classroom experience required
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
Must meet New Jersey licensing and background requirements
